PURPOSE: To make a resist mark reading level and developing density always optimum and to normally perform registration deviation correcting sequence by adjusting illumination condition of a resist mark reading means, the developing condition of an image forming means forming a resist mark, and the condition of the image forming means to adequate values before the registration is corrected. CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with a pattern forming means (controller part 51), a mark detecting means (reading means 10) detecting a resist correcting mark, and a correcting means correcting the resist deviation on an image based on the detection output of the means 10. An image processing station 52 diagnoses whether the image forming means, the reading means 10 and the correcting means can be normally operated or not based on the output of the means 10, the station 52 and the controller part 51 adjust the image forming means, the means 10 and the correcting means to the adequate conditions in accordance with the diagnostic conditions, so that normal resist deviation correcting processing can be performed. |
