<p>PURPOSE: To effectively utilize the incinerated ash of domestic refuse by separating the ash into coarse ash and fine ash in accordance with the bulkiness, compacting the coarse ash into a block and forming the fine ash into a powder material to be solidified like cement. CONSTITUTION: The incinerated ash is thrown into a vibrating screen 18 and separated into the coarse ash having high bulkiness and the fine ash having low bulkiness, and the coarse ash is supplied to a mixer 28. The weighed coarse ash is agitated in the mixer 28 along with cement and an alkaline agent such as sodium carbonate, potassium carbonate and ammonia or further with boric acid and water and kneaded, and the kneaded material is supplied to a press 40 and compacted into a block. The fine ash as the undersize of the screen 18 is introduced into a mixer 68. The ash powder, cement and the powder of such an alkaline agent as sodium chloride, potassium chloride, magnesium chloride and calcium chloride are agitated, mixed and kneaded with water in the mixer 68 and finished into a powder material solidifying like cement by water kneading.</p> |
