PURPOSE: To provide a method for producing a low acid beverage containing milk in a hermetically closed container reduced in an amount of a sucrose fatty acid ester added for suppressing the germination and proliferation of a thermostable bacteria during sales with heating by an automatic vending machine. CONSTITUTION: This method for producing a low acid beverage containing milk in a hermetically closed container comprises treating a content solution of low acid beverage containing milk by homogenizing with a homogenizer, then adding and mixing a sucrose fatty acid ester, filling the content solution into a container, hermetically closing the container and sterilizing it. |
