<p>PURPOSE: To transmit the pressing force of a piston smoothly to friction engaging elements in a hydraulic brake of such constitution that oil pressure is boosted by three pistons and transmitted to friction engaging elements. CONSTITUTION: Three pistons 24, 25, 26 are enclosed inside a cylinder 22. The first action part 241 of the piston 24 is brought into contact with the piston 26, and the second action part 261 of the piston 26 is made face the left end of friction engaging elements 41, 42, 43. The piston 24 and the piston 26 are moved to the right by oil pressure fed to a first oil chamber 28 and a second oil chamber 33 so as to engage the friction engaging elements 41, 42, 43. The positions of the first action part 241 and second action part 261 are overlapped from the axial view so as to prevent the pinching of both pistons 24, 26. With the pistons 24, 25, 26 formed of pressed products, machining cost can be reduced, and oil passages 242 , 243 for connecting the first oil chamber 28 to the second oil chamber 33 can be formed easily.</p> |
