PURPOSE: To allow the user to hear an emergency signal and a voice signal even when the user is resident at a location apart from a house-to-house receiver by relaying a demodulation output of the house-to-house receiver with a specified low power transmitter and receiving the signal at a specified low power receiver at a remote location. CONSTITUTION: A signal received from an antenna 1 is demodulated by a reception circuit 2, converted into a digital signal by a digital demodulator 3, and given to a microcomputer 4 as a digital SELCAL signal. The microcomputer 4 controls a squelch circuit 5 based on the digital SELCAL signal to control the input of the audio signal demodulated by the reception circuit to an audio amplifier 6. The audio signal amplified by the audio amplifier 6 is sounded from a speaker 7. In this case, the microcomputer 4 controls a specified low power transmitter 8 based on an incoming call detection output to set the transmitter 8 to be a transmission state and the transmitter 8 sends the audio signal from an antenna 9. The signal sent from the antenna 9 is received by an antenna 10 installed at a remote location and the audio signal is sounded from a speaker 12 by a specified low power receiver 11. |
