PURPOSE: To speedily display newest guiding data and to reduce a communication cost by adding an automatic visitor guiding function to a video conference device and updating guiding data from a remote place. CONSTITUTION: On the side of a visitor guiding system, when a guiding button 11 is pressed, guiding data stored in a storage device 10 is repeatedly reproduced. At the time of updating guiding data from the remote place through the use of a communication line, an operator selects an update mode at the time of transmission, inputs the address of a guiding system, adds a specified sub-address for an update mode to a sub-address and calls. On the side of the guiding system, this specified sub-address is detected to start the update mode so that sent video and sound are stored in the storage device 10 and guiding data is updated. At the time of using by a conference mode, the conference mode is selected for calling. In this case, a specified value is not set to the sub-address. |
