At this time, the web 4 of an H-shape steel 3 is normal. However, for flanges 5a, 5b, 5c and 5b, length measuring and thicknesses are unequal in up and down and left and right. Accordingly, after rolling by a universal mill, the sectional profile of the shapes 3 is found by a device recognizing the dimensions and the shape of the shapes 3, and is collated with the previously stored profile.
