<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas cushion in a side impact protective device capable of achieving a protective function in an extremely early stage of the maximum time of 10-15 ms used for inflation at the time of a side impact. SOLUTION: On the inside of a gas cushion 16, plural mooring belts 20 disposed as specified to part the gas cushion 16 into at least two partial chambers 22, 23 are provided, and the plural partial chambers 22, 23 are inflated to be deflected from each other by time by a charging device 15 which relation to displacement motion of a human body zone of an occupant 4 in side impact.</p> |
