PURPOSE: To provide a method and a device for bending the end tab of a blank. CONSTITUTION: Each end tab of a blank 4 is protruded from the lateral end part of a conveyor 16 and then is fed and further, the blank 4 is sent in a direction 33 side by side with a bent line along a bending path 20 with the help of a conveyor 16. With this blank sending process, the reinforcing tab of each blank 4 is bent in the U-shape around the bent line. In addition, the device 14 is equipped with a conveyor 16 for supporting the blank 4 relative to each end tab and a means to bend the end tab of each blank 4 in the U-shape around the bent line as the blank 4 is fed into a direction in parallel with the bent line along the bending path 20 with the help of the conveyor 16. |
