PURPOSE: To specify shift amount, display color background color, OR/AND processing, etc., related to the binary image data optionally, to synthesize them to the binary or multi-valued data, to write them in an image memory and to easily and rapidly execute optional shift and OR/AND processing related to a plotting controller plotting the binary image data. CONSTITUTION: This device is constituted so as to be provided with a mask processing means 4 converting the data shifting the binary image data to be plotted according to the shift data into the multi-valued data based on specified the display color, the background color while referring to a multi-valued conversion table and OR processing or AND processing the converted multi-valued data and the multi-valued data read out from a part to be written of an image memory 7, and a development means 6 rewriting the multi-valued data after mask-processed by the mask processing means 4 in the original position of the image memory 7. |
