GRAVEL CORRESPONDING TYPE SLURRY PRESSURIZED EXCAVATION METHOD AND EXCAVATOR THEREOF

PURPOSE: To prevent a non-rotatable state of an excavator and the collapse of a facing surface even if an excavation caliber is small in a gravel layer having less silty clay and to enable the directional control surely even if a mutual layer section having big difference between soil layers is excavated. CONSTITUTION: A partition wall is installed on the front end of an excavator 10, pressurized slurry is supplied between the partition wall 22 and a facing surface 12, and excavation is made while preventing the collapse of the facing surface 12 by the pressure of slurry. In case a gravel layer is excavated, a viscosity providing agent is supplied to slurry between the partition wall 22 and facing surface 12 to prevent the overflow of slurry.
