PURPOSE: To maintain satisfactory printing without adversely affecting a developed photosensitive layer even in the case of adhesion to the photosensitive layer by adding or applying no rosin sizing agent, fatty acid or fatty acid salt. CONSTITUTION: No rosin sizing agent, fatty acid or fatty acid salt is added or applied. A synthetic sizing agent, such as a synthesized sizing agent, a petroleum resin sizing agent or a neutral sizing agent is added or applied by 0.1 to 5wt.%, preferably 0.2 to 3wt.%, especially preferably 0.3 to 1wt.%. In the case of <0.1wt.%, the sizing effect is not produced. In the case of >5wt.%, the sizing effect does not appear and a component not contributing to the sizing effect sticks to the inside of a paper making machine and contaminates paper. The synthetic sizing agent is added by mixing with paper stock in a chest or is applied with a gravure roll or a coating bar. |
