PURPOSE: To obtain the subject composition, comprising water, a colorant, a water-soluble organic solvent and a specific compound as a lubricant, excellent in lubricity and useful as an ink for ball-point pens, markers, etc. CONSTITUTION: This ink comprises (A) water, (B) a colorant, (C) a water-soluble organic solvent, (D) at least one or more selected from 2-alkyl-3-isothiazolones, 5-chloro-3-isothiazolones and 5-chloro-2-alkyl-3-isothiazolones. Furthermore, e.g. 2-methyl-3-isothiazolone and 2-ethyl-3-isothiazolone are cited as the component (D) and the amount thereof is preferably 0.01-5wt.% in the composition. |
