ELECTROSTATIC IMAGE DEVELOPING CARRIER, ITS PRODUCTION AND ELECTROSTATIC IMAGE FORMING METHOD

PURPOSE: To provide an electrostatic image developing carrier that the resin forming resin coating layer can be selected from a wide variation, the resin coating layer can be firmly fixed, the peeling of films is hardly caused, image defects such as voids and white strips on an OHP image and scratches on a drum due to deposition of a white powder mixed in the developer during the production process are not produced, and the carrier has high durability and stable charge imparting property with time. CONSTITUTION: The electrostatic charge image developing carrier is used for a two-component developer comprising at least a toner and the carrier and is used for a developing method that the developer is carried in a narrower state than the space between an image forming member and a developer carrying member to develop an image on the image forming member while AC and DC bias voltage is applied. The carrier for electrostatic developing is produced by uniformly mixing magnetic particles and resin fine particles and repeatedly adding mechanical impact force to the mixture to fix the resin particles to the magnetic powder surface. The amt. of the white powder mixed in the carrier for electrostatic developing is specified to <=15ppm.
