PURPOSE: To produce an incombustible and ultra-lightweight wave absorber in place of a wave absorber comprising the existing expanded polyurethane, plastics, etc. CONSTITUTION: This composition for a wave absorber is constituted of a cement, a lightweight aggregate, nonconductive fibers and a synthetic resin emulsion and, as necessary, an organic microballoon, carbon graphite or carbon fibers added thereto. This member for the wave absorber is obtained by directly using the composition for the wave absorber or laminating the composition for the wave absorber onto an incombustible lightweight thin sheet. The wave absorber is prepared by assembling the member for the wave absorber into the form of a quandrangular pyramid and attaching a plate material having a ferrite tile laminated thereto and a metallic reflecting plate to the base part. |
