PURPOSE: To provide a compact tightening device for a seat belt which does not generate the superabundant torsional force on a seat belt buckle. CONSTITUTION: A seat belt tightening device consists of a rewinding part 1 for a main wire 20 connected with a seat balt buckle 10 and a retraction driving part 100 for rewinding a subwire 60 connected with a rewinding part for applying a retraction driving force to the rewinding part 1, and a pair of main wire parts 20a and 20b are extended from the seat belt buckle 10, and one end is connected in a rotatable manner with a main wire pullely 9. A ratchet plate 30 which turns synchronously with the main wire pulley 9 is turning-driven by the rewinding of the subwire 60 connected with the retraction driving part 10, and the main wire 20 is rewound onto the outer peripheral surface of the main wire pulley, and the seat belt buckle 10 is rewound. |
