PURPOSE: To prevent a trouble due to disconnection or dropping of mutually connected parts of electric wires by external force by welding an electric wire holding tool to a branched electric wire by ultrasonic treatment in the condition wherein the branched electric wire is inserted between an electric wire fixing plate and an electric wire cover of the electric wire holding tool. CONSTITUTION: An ultrasonic wave horn 20 is installed above an electric wire cover 11 to carry out ultrasonic treatment and to weld an electric wire fixing plate 10 to an electric wire cover 11. At that time, regarding a branched electric wire 3 inserted between an electric wire pinching groove 13 and an electric wire pushing part 17 in being bent state, an insulation coating of the electric wire 3 is scattered by ultrasonic waves and a core wire 3b of the wire 3 is put in exposed state. The core wire 3a is thus welded and fixed unitedly between the melted electric wire fixing plate 10 and electric wire cover 11. Consequently, even if external force e.g. tensile force, etc., acts on the branched electric wire, the effect of the external force does not reach the connection part of a base electric wire 2 and the branched electric wire 3 and the connection part is kept stably. As a result, a trouble due to disconnection or dropping of the mutually connected parts of electric wires by external force can be prevented. |
