PURPOSE: To improve the utilization efficiency of a diode bridge for an inverter apparatus and that of a transistor bridge for a power regeneration apparatus when an inverter is applied to a use in which a running operation and a raising and lowering operation are performed as one set such as an automatic warehouse. CONSTITUTION: An inverter apparatus is provided with a regenerative power conversion means 12 wherein arms in which switching elements and diodes have been connected in parallel constitute a bridge in such a way that a direct current which is output from a forward conversion means 5 which converts an input from an AC power supply into a direct current so as to be output is inverted into an alternating current so as to be capable of being regenerated into an AC power supply and with a plurality of inverter means 9A, 9B wherein arms in which switching elements and diodes which are installed on the side of the DC output of the forward conversion means 5 have been connected in parallel constitute a bridge. |
