CONSTITUTION: When transmitting/receiving the digital data by transmitting a sub-carrier signal together with an audio modulated FM stereo signal, an SCA sub-carrier wave is generated by multiplying the frequency of a first signal 804 plural times, a signal 808 separated higher than the peak side frequency of audio modulated signals 802 and 806 is formed, the sub-carrier wave is transmitted to a receiver, this first signal 804 is reproduced by this receiver, and this first signal is used for decoding the digital data from the modulated SCA signal component.
