PURPOSE: To provide a KARAOKE sing-along marking method and device capable of executing marking with high accuracy by simple constitution. CONSTITUTION: Tone name information is obtd. from music note information and the central frequency of a variable band-pass filter 21 is so controlled by the tone name information as to coincide with the standard frequencies allotted to the tone names. The narrow-band characteristics of such variable band-pass filter are used as a means for deciding whether the musical tones of a singer coincide with the frequencies of the tone names to be sung or not. |
