PURPOSE: To improve appearance by providing on an upper portion of a body on an outdoor side a roof plate having an inclined surface. CONSTITUTION: Fixed holes 11 are provided in both upper sides at a rear end of an outer casing of a body 1 which is installed to extend through installation holes in a wall surface, and a roof plate 5 formed with substantially triangular- shaped flanges 7, which are formed with spindle holes 8 corresponding to the fixed holes 11 and converge toward rear ends thereof, and substantially dogleg- shaped stoppers 6 at the rear end thereof, is mounted by inserting spindles 9, of which small-diameter portions are formed with threads, into the spindle holes 8 and the fixed holes 11 through torsion springs 10 and threading nuts 12 onto the threaded portions of the spindles 9. Then the respective torsion springs 10 have one of extensions thereof latched on latch claws 13 provided on the both sides of the rear end of the outer casing, and the other of the extensions of the respective torsion springs 10 latched on a rear surface of the roof plate 5. Accordingly, a unitary-type air conditioner is provided, in which the roof plate 5 is biased upward at all times by the torsion springs 10 and the stoppers 6 are made to abut against the rear end of the outer casing to hold the roof plate 5 having an inclined surface and side surfaces. |
