PURPOSE: To easily sort copies after paper discharge in the digital image forming device having an electronic sort function by selecting a paper feed cut-length longer than a usual page as to pages in which margin setting is selected. CONSTITUTION: An operation section 103 has a switch section used by the user to set the electronic sort mode and a required number at that time or the like. Then a margin setting switch is provided on an operation section 103 and the user selects and sets whether or not a margin is made. Furthermore, a page selection switch is provided on the operation section 103 and the user selects and sets whether space is formed to a 1st page or a final page. For example, when paper is supplied for the 1st page, an operating timing to cut roll paper is given to a roll paper feed section 200 in a form of a control signal to extend the cut length more than that of a usual page. Thus, a margin of several cm is formed to the 1st page or the final page of each copy and the length of the paper of the page is set longer than other pages, then copies are easily sorted. |
