PURPOSE: To provide an image forming device capable of moving a cleaner with its rotation without requiring plural drive sources, obtaining high cleaning performance and further, adjusting the position of the cleaner with a simple constitution. CONSTITUTION: The image forming device is constituted of a driving motor M, a first power transmitting system 21 transmitting the power of the driving motor M to a brush cleaner 31 to rotate it, a first connecting/disconnecting means connecting/disconnecting the first power transmitting system 21, a second power transmitting system transmitting the power of the driving motor M to the brush cleaner 31 and allowing it to contact/separate with/from an intermediate transfer drum 5 and a second connecting/disconnecting means connecting/ disconnecting the second power transmitting system. |
