PURPOSE: To prevent a trouble such as a freezing or the like from occurring by a method wherein each of evaporating parts is arranged before a cooling state of each of cooling coils, and each of condensing parts is arranged at a position where it can be at least heat exchanged with fluid to be cooled which has passed through another evaporating part of a closed loop passage and cooled. CONSTITUTION: Fluid Va passes in sequence an evaporating part A1 at one closed loop passage and a cooling coil 13a. Liquid Vb passes passes in sequence an evaporating part B1 of another closed loop passage B and a cooling coil 13b. Cooled fluids Va and Vb pass at least through a condensing part of another closed loop passage from each other. With such an arrangement as above, even in the case that a flow rate of one fluid Vb is varied and reduced lower than that of the other fluid Va, the fluid Vb cooled down to a lower temperature than its normal value cools the condensing part A3 of another closed loop passage. This is transmitted to the evaporating part A1 so as to perform a preliminary cooling of the fluid Va. The cooled fluid Va cools a condensing part B3 so as to make a preliminary cooling of the fluid Vb. With such an arrangement as above, the cooling coil 13b is prevented from being freezed. |
