发明名称 DEGRADATION DETECTION METHOD FOR LUBRICATING OIL
摘要 PURPOSE: To accurately detect and judge the degree of degradation or the residual life during the use especially on line in a lubricating oil of gas engine for a cogeneration system (CGS) and other lubricating oils. CONSTITUTION: Two lights, one with a short wavelength and the other with a long wavelength in a range of 0.4-2.5μm are used to measure absorbance or a quantity of transmission light at the respective wavelengths of a lubricating oil. A measured value signal is transmitted to a microcomputer 6 to be converted into the process possible number of pulses (A/D conversion) with the microcomputer 6 and then, inputted to an arithmetic part of the microcomputer 6. The arithmetic part of the microcomputer 6 identifies degrading patterns indicating the degree of degradation of the oil by a judging algorithms contained. Moreover, the degree of degradation or the residual life of the oil is computed from a calibration curve corresponding to the respective degradation patterns identified to output. A resulting output signal is shown on a display device 7.
