<p>PURPOSE: To reduce temperature increase by specifying the interval between the peripheral surface of a reinforcing insulating body and the inner circumferential surface of an external metal protection pipe and forming an insulating oil convection gap to increase the convection heat dispersion effect of an insulating oil. CONSTITUTION: In an OF cable connection part for performing large-capacity power transmission, the thickness of a reinforcing insulating body 5 is extremely thicker than the thickness of a cable insulating body 2, and therefore, when a cable conductor 3 generates heat due to electrification, the temperature increase of the connection part becomes extremely large since the heat resistance of the thick reinforcing insulating body is large. Therefore, an insulating oil convection gap (g) of 20mm or more is formed between the peripheral surface 5a of the reinforcing insulating body 5 and the inner circumferential surface 10a of an external metal protection pipe 10. Thereby, the heat of the reinforcing insulating body 5 is dispersed by the convection of an insulating oil 11 inside the gap (g), thereby being able to reduce the temperature increase of the connection part.</p> |
