PURPOSE: To easily separate a reception section and a transmission section so that a nondefective portion is not required to be scrapped when a defective portion is partially generated by providing a partition section separating the reception section and transmission section in a mold material. CONSTITUTION: A reception section having a receiving optical connector 11 and a receiving hybrid IC (receiving circuit board) 13 and a transmission section having a transmitting optical connector 21 and a transmitting hybrid IC 23 are integrally resin-sealed by a mold material 30. A groove 60 having a nearly V-shaped cross section is formed on the mold material 30 of a module. The V-groove 60 is located above the gap between the hybrid ICs 13, 23, and it serves as a partition section for separating the module into two. When force is applied from both sides of the V-groove 60, the module can be simply separated into a portion containing the reception section and a portion containing the transmission section. |
