PURPOSE: To prevent it that communication is not available due to a worm battery on the way of communication by detecting a reception level from a base station and displaying available time for communication based on a transmission level up to a base station at that point and a residual quantity of the driven battery. CONSTITUTION: A reception signal from a base station is processed by a signal processing section 4 through a reception circuit 6, transmission data are modulated by a transmission circuit 8, the level is controlled to be a transmission signal and it is sent to a base station. A current consumption of each circuit depends on a state such as reception transmission and the current consumption of the transmission circuit 8 is increased/decreased by the transmission level of an output signal. Then the transmission current consumed at that point of time is indexed by storing a table in advance where a reception level at that point of time and a transmission level to be outputted are cross-referenced and a communication time total current consumption is obtained together with the current consumption of other circuits in the transmission. |
