PURPOSE: To provide a ventilating tower which ventilate a building by utilizing solar light and in which cool feeling is enhanced by the introducing atmosphere. CONSTITUTION: The ventilating tower comprises a cylinder 5 stood on the roof 3a of a building 3 and communicating with the interior of the building 3, an opening 7 provided at a position where the solar light of the cylinder 5 is irradiated, a transparent member 9 so provided as to block the opening 7 to pass the light, black paint 5a coating the inner position of the cylinder 5 where the light passed through the member 9 is irradiated, and a roof member 13 installed above the upper opening of the cylinder 5 to prevent the invasion of rain water into the cylinder 5. |
