<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide long-time video recording and reproducing tape recorder which can have its reproduction and recording times adjusted to N multiples. SOLUTION: A capstan servo circuit of the video tape recorder consists of an N multiplying means for multiplying an inputted capstan frequency signal by N, a 1st switching means for switching respective signals multiplied by the N multiplying means according to a mode select signal for selecting a mode, a capstan servo circuit equipped with a down counting means for counting down the output signal of the 1st switching means, a synchronous separating means 300 for inputting and separating a composite synchronizing signal into a vertical and a horizontal synchronizing signal, a drum reference frequency generating means 400 for inputting the output signal of the synchronous separating means 300 and generating a drum reference signal, a delay means 1000 for delaying a drum phase signal by a specific angle of 180 deg.+θ(θ: positive angle) and outputting the delayed signal, and a 2nd switching means 1100 for selecting the drum phase signal or delayed drum phase signal according to a longest playback mode select signal.</p> |
