PURPOSE: To shorten the plant stopping period accompanying the life extending work of a nuclear power station. CONSTITUTION: When a new RPV1 is carried into the reactor building 31, a reactor internal structure 2 and a CRD housing 23 are preliminarily integrated into the RPV 1, and an integrally assembledγ-shield 17 is also combined with the RPV 1 to simultaneously carry them into the reactor building 31. Thus, the frequency of carrying-in is reduced, and the time for installing the reactor internal structure after the carrying of the RPV 1 into the reactor building is dispensed with, so that the period to operation restart after the carrying-in of the RPV 1 can be shortened.
