PURPOSE: To obtain a doping effect by a hexacyano-metal-complex to the utmost. CONSTITUTION: The photosensitive layer formed on a support has silver halide grains dispersed into a gelatin and the hexacyano-coordinated metal complex is incorporated into the silver halide grains in an amount of 1×10<-7> -5×10<-3> mol/ mol of silver halide in the grains and a complex-localized phase >=10 times higher in its concentration than the other parts exists in the surface phase of the grains containing the silver halide grains in an amount of <=50mol% of the total silver halide grains, and these silver halide grains are obtained by incorporating the cyanocomplex into the silver halide grains in the presence of group IIIB except boron or a lantanoid salt, and optionally executing the following processs.
