摘要 <p>PURPOSE: To prevent dielectric breakdown within a liquid crystal display part which affects liquid crystal display. CONSTITUTION: Scanning electrode leader lines 12a and auxiliary capacitor electrode leader lines 13a connected with the respective ends of scanning electrode lines and auxiliary capacitor electrode lines are formed to outside of the liquid crystal display part on an insulating substrate. Scanning electrode pads 12b and auxiliary capacitor electrode pads 13b are formed at the front ends of the scanning electrode leader lines 12a and the auxiliary capacitor electrode leader lines 13a. Projecting patterns 12c, 13c are formed in the opposite parts of the scanning electrode leader lines 12a and the auxiliary capacitor electrode leader lines 13a. The opposite spacings of these projecting patterns are set at a distance shorter than the wiring spacings of the scanning electrode lines and the auxiliary capacitor electrode lines. The dielectric breakdown is made to easily arise at the points of the projecting patterns 12c, 13c outside the liquid crystal display part which do not affect the liquid crystal display. The dielectric breakdown of the scanning electrode lines and the auxiliary capacitor electrode lines is, therefore, lessened within the liquid crystal display part which affects the liquid crystal display.</p>
