PURPOSE: To facilitate the handling of a toner supplying container and to prevent shutter members from being erroneously opened while the toner supplying container is moved. CONSTITUTION: This image forming device is provided with the shutter members 50 and 40 on a wall surface where the toner supplying opening 25 of a supplying container 2 is formed and the wall surface of a device main body side which faces the wall surface and has the formed toner receiving opening 44, respectively and constituted in such a manner that engaging parts provided in the respective shutter members 50 and 40 are engaged with the engaging parts of the wall surfaces of the opposite sides so as to open the openings 25 and 44 respectively at the time of attaching the toner supplying container 2 to the device main body side in a fixed direction and a locking member for locking the shutter members 50 and 40 in a closing position is provided on the opening/closing guide of the shutter members 50 and 40 and engaged with a locking releasing member provided on the device main body side at the time of attaching the toner supplying container 2 thereto, so that the shutter members 50 and 40 can be opened while the locking member is forcibly released, linked with the attaching operation. |
