PURPOSE: To obtain a heater type humidifier having a simple construction and being easy to clean. CONSTITUTION: This heater type humidifier is equipped with an external case 1, a humidifying tank 2 having a wide opening 2a and generating vapor by heating water injected through this wide opening 2a and an openable hood 3 which covers the wide opening 2a of the humidifying tank 2, and a vapor lead-out path 15 leading out the vapor generated in the humidifying tank 2 is formed in the hood 3. Accordingly, it has no water tank other than the humidifying tank 2 and this tank functions also as the water tank, while it is so constructed as to generate the vapor by heating the whole of the stored water. Therefore the humidifying tank can be cleaned easily through the wide opening 2a only by removing the hood 3. Moreover, the construction is simple, since it has no water tank, vapor exhaust tube, etc., provided heretofore other than the humidifying tank 2. |
