PURPOSE: To provide a method for soldering the lead wire of a piezoelectric transformer in which the wire can be effectively and easily soldered to a silver electrode and the maintenance of a soldering apparatus is facilitated. CONSTITUTION: The end of a lead wire is brought into contact with a silver electrode 3 on the front and rear of a piezoelectric ceramic plate 2. A light beam 16 is emitted from the condenser lens 15 of an optical fiber light heater disposed oppositely in space at the upper part, and a wire solder 7 is supplied to be soldered.
