PURPOSE: To make it possible to display the videos of dark objects or silhouettes in synthesis while maintaining natural appearance and to make processing for concealing by synthesizing the images of the scenes of the appearance made into video images and pseudo images and outputting these images in real time. CONSTITUTION: The scenes in the eye positions of a device wearing person are reflected by a reflection mirror 24, are picked up by a camera 25 and are made into video image signals which are inputted to a video deciding section 12. This video deciding section 12 executes operation to separate the scenes made into the video signals to a number of parts in order to execute hierarchizing processing. On the other hand, the pseudo videos generated in a video generating section 10 are also subjected to digital signal processing in a digital signal converting section 11 and are inputted to a hierarchizing section 15 where the videos are subjected to the hierarchizing processing and are synthesized. The synthesized images are sent to the video signal converting section 16 where the images are converted to the video signals. The video signals are inputted to a color liquid crystal display device 21 where video display is executed. The videos are inputted to the human eyes 27 via an optical lens 22 and a reflection mirror 23.
