<p>PURPOSE: To facilitate discrimination of the menu items of high using frequency from others among those displayed menu items. CONSTITUTION: The selection frequency of menu items are calculated based on a menu item selection frequency table (602) until all menu items are displayed (601). The display color density of each menu item is decided based on a selection frequency/menu display color density table (603), and the menu items are displayed (604). The selection frequency of each menu item is calculated as a rate to the value which is stored in a menu total selection frequency table. Then a menu selecting operation of an operator is waited for (605). When the menu selecting operation is carried out, the value of the menu total selection frequency table is increased by 1 in a memory (606). At the same time, the entry value of the menu item selection frequency table is also increased by 1 in the memory and in response to the selected menu item (607). Finally the function module corresponding to the selected menu item is started (608).</p> |
