<p>PURPOSE: To improve the operability of a menu pick on a display screen by the use of a tablet, a mouse, etc. CONSTITUTION: The speed and acceleration of a cursor when it moves in a menu area can be adjusted by providing a function which defines the menu area 61 on the display screen and a function which defines the relation between information (rate of change/coordinates) from respective input devices and the cursor display position on the display screen when the cursor moves in the menu area (the cursor speed of the cursor moving in the menu 61 decreases when the size of 71 is made large and increases when 71 is made small), thereby making it possible to adjust speed/acceleration of the cursor when it moves in the menu area, loading to improving the operability of a menu pick.</p> |
