<p>PURPOSE: To provide a stress cone compressing device which dispenses with the preparation of various kinds of devices according to the size and the shape of an applied premold stress cone, can reduce its stored space and is easily controlled. CONSTITUTION: This device comprises a pushing metal fitting 7 having a tapered inner circumferential surface and fitted onto the premold stress cone of a cable end part, a ring-like intermediate metal fitting 10 and a biasing mechanism 11 with a spring 13 fitted to the backward end part. A cylindrical part 7c formed to project in the base end part of the pushing metal fitting 7 is inserted into the insertion hole 10a of the intermediate metal fitting 10, and the pushing metal fitting 7 and the intermediate metal fitting 10 to which the biasing mechanism 11 is fitted can be easily divided.</p> |
