PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a test element evaluation device in which complicated adjustment is reduced to a minimum and the regulated state is stable during operation of the device, and also the tolerance of the distance between the test region and the measuring heat is only small. SOLUTION: A reflectance evaluation device comprises a measuring head 3 including an emitter and a sensor, a test element supporting member 4 on which the test element to be analyzed is placed and a spacer 2 with one or several measuring apertures which is placed between the test element and the measuring head and defines the distance between the surface of a test region and the said measuring head; the device has a neighboring test region.
