PURPOSE: To improve a function of drain treatment carried out by a condenser by allowing drain from an evaporator to stay for a long period of time. CONSTITUTION: Since a spine fin tubes 19 of an evaporator 6 and a condenser 7 are arranged vertically in the same plane with the evaporator 6 on an upper side and the condenser 7 on a lower side, drain generated due to a cooling action of the evaporator 6 drops on the condenser 7 immediately below the evaporator in a manner shown by arrows B. At this time, the spine fin tube 19 forming the condenser 7 is positioned with all the meandering multi-stage tube disposed vertically in the same plane, so that drain will pass all the tube to drop downward from an uppermost stage tube to a lowermost stage tube. As a result, drain stays on the spine fin tube 19 of the condenser 7 for an adequately long period of time, during which drain can be made to effectively evaporate due to heat from a high temperature refrigerant. |
