PURPOSE: To obtain a lightweight low-cost org. photoreceptor not causing trouble due to peeling because of satisfactory adhesiveness of the electric charge generating layer to the substrate, ensuring slight dark attenuation and giving a satisfactory image by using a substrate based on crosslinked PPS resin. CONSTITUTION: The surface of an electrically conductive substrate 1 based on crosslinked PPS resin is treated by irradiation with UV or corona discharge, an electric charge generating layer 2 of 0.5-2μm thickness is formed by coating on the treated surface and an electric charge transferring layer 3 is further formed by coating on the layer 2 to obtain the objective photoreceptor.
