PURPOSE: To obtain a holding device in which the contact property with an object to be measured of a probe for transmission and reception is not changed for every measurement, which can measure the propagation time with high accuracy because the contact property does not change when the measuring part is moved, and which can measure sound velocity with high accuracy because the distance between the probes can be detected. CONSTITUTION: An ultrasonic probe 1 is placed on an object 90 to be measured, and the inclination of the ultrasonic probe 1 is moved and adjusted in movable directions 7a, 7b so as to become a good contact state. A suction pump 10a lowers the internal pressure inside hoses 11 and that of inside sucking disks 9a, 9b which are connected via the hoses 11. Since the sucking disks 9a, 9b are fixed, a support material 5 and the ultrasonic probe 1 can be fixed in the same manner. The ultrasonic probe 1 is pressed to the object 90 to be measured by mans of the support material 5, its contact property is increased, and a constant pressing pressure is obtained. In addition, the pressure of the sucking disks 9a, 9b is changed, and the angle of the ultrasonic probe 1 is adjusted. |
