PURPOSE: To provide a method which can discriminate the real numbers from the integers of the internal numerical data of a computer without requiring any type information table of large capacity. CONSTITUTION: It is decided whether the present subject data are contained in a type information table or not (S101). If contained, the data are read out based on the real number/integer types shwon on the table and then displayed and outputted (S102). If not contained, 23-30 bits equivalent to the exponent of data are taken out and decimalized (S103). Then it is decided whether the decimalized value is included in a range of 60-194 or not (S104). If included, a real number type is decided. Then the data are read out and then displayed and outputted (S105). If not included, an integer type is decided. Then data are read out and then displayed and outputted (S106). |
