PURPOSE: To reduce memory capacity by enabling envelop data of plural partial sounds constituting one musical sound to be processed at high speed with interlocked operations. CONSTITUTION: In the case of making one musical sound be generated, the envelop level data EN1 of one partial sound are computed in respective phases of an attack, a decay and a release (a step 25). Envelop level data EN2 to ENn of other partial sounds are interlockingly computed by multiplying the envelop level data ENI by coefficient data C2 to Cn determined at every other partial sound (steps 27, 29, 31). Respective envelop level data EN1 to ENn are multiplied by corresponding musical tone waveform data W1 to Wn and then output waveform data of every partial sound are outputted (steps 26, 28, 30, 32). |
