发明名称 ELECTROSTATIC CHARGE IMAGE DEVELOPING CARRIER
摘要 <p>PURPOSE: To obtain an output image having high and homogeneous density and high resolution without causing fog or deposition of carrier for a long term by using sperical magnetic particles containing a specified amt. of silicon elements as the core material and coating the surface of the core with a resin. CONSTITUTION: Magnetic particles which are substantially spherical are used as the core material of the carrier, into which silicon elements are incorporated by 100-5000ppm, preferably 500-3000 ppm. This carrier is used for a two- component developer to be used for a contact developing method. Magnetic particles showing 50 to 120emu/g saturation magnetization range when 10k0e magnetic field is applied are used as the core material of the carrier. Otherwise, carrier is used for a two-component developer to be used for a noncontact developing method. Magnetic particles showing 20 to 80emu/g saturation magnetization range when 10kOe magnetic field is applied are used for the core material. By this method, the film forming characteristics of the resin-coated carrier can be improved.</p>
