<p>PURPOSE: To reduce the load of address learning while keeping the precision or learning in the CLSF processing for routing of ATM cells. CONSTITUTION: When a BOM(beginning of message) cell or an SSM(single sequent message) cell is received from an ATM exchange or a CLAD processor by a cell reception buffer 11 or a transmission cell buffer 21, an address table control part 14 additionally registers address information of the transmission source address, VPI, and VCI of the cell in a primary table 15. The destination address of the cell is retrieved from the primary table 15 and a secondary table 16 and is added to values of VPI and VCI retrieved by VPI and VCI conversion parts 12 and 22. The address table control part 14 sorts contents of the primary table 15 by the transmission source address asynchronously with this operation, and plural address information are additionally registered as one address information in the table 16 by the majority decision system.</p> |
