Method of making drainage trench for playing field

The method involves using a trenching tool which wedges the soil to raise the soil mass. A primary drainage material is placed in the formed trench at a set level and below the surface level of the soil. A second material is placed in the trench with a grain size definitely less than that of the primary material to complete filling of the trench.
