PURPOSE: To provide the guide device which can guide the moving body on condition that the moving body can be irradiated with a guide signal in a certain direction even in a place where the installation position of a guide signal source is limited like a narrow constricted part and the surface of a cylindrical shape. CONSTITUTION: This device is equipped with the moving body 1 which can move in a multidimensional space, a laser light source 8a which guides the moving body at right angles to the axis of the laser beam and a laser light source 8b which guides the moving body in parallel to the axis of the laser beam as light sources which are present in one direction to the moving body 1, spot position detectors 3a and 3b mounted on the moving body 1 so as to detect laser beams 16a and 16b emitted by the laser light sources 8a and 8b, a movement controller 4 which generates operation commands on the basis of position signals 17a and 17b from the spot position detectors 3a and 3b, and a moving mechanism 5 which operates with a movement control signal 18 from the movement controller 4. |
